Very nice review. I would like to ask you how can be similar in loudness the wave eight with qcs. Qsc max db 130. Wave eight max db 114(from other youtuber measurements) Is the eave eight loud enough as a pa speaker???

Depending on the amount of people, yes this speaker can be used as a PA.

The Wave is surprisingly strong with a sub I think you could get by however if you don’t need wireless I would just stick with QSC

@PhearNoneGearGadgets I use the Xvive U3 if I wanna go wireless with the QSC..that thing last about 8 hours strong no latency and it don't work on 2.4ghz...and the range is crazy!

Now that you've had this speaker for some time. What is your real world battery life? I get about 2 hours of play at 75% volume and I feel like the battery might be defective

I returned the Alpha Theta, however when i really pushed it I wasn’t getting more than 3-4 hours with it pumping bass at probably 80%

@@Lectrosoul I still use the QSC K-10, I haven't needed the wireless ness of those speakers. If I did I would go for the Wave 8 because it sounds close to the QSC
