Yeah dude, just pre eq on the DI, virtual amp head using archetype Gojira, GGD cab sim, more EQ processing, multi band compression, limiting and stereo imaging before reaching the overal mix bus

Is it really? I have been missing out lol. If that is their actually tuning, go for that. My guitar was definitely in the tuning I thought it was for one of their tracks if that makes sense.

RIGHT! I wish the secret was revealed becuase No matter how low of a tuning or how many strings his power chords are crystal clear. I cant get a articulate power chord unless its from the 9th -24 frets on every guitar ive ever picked up.

String gauges are between 74-13 and everything that is done is heavily processed with lots of eq and harmonic saturation. Everything like drums, bass and guitars are all in a separate mix bus made to saturate the mix more, slam the mix with compression at -3dB when the snare hits and slight EQ moves.
