no, its not an impression of vessel, he’s using a vocal technique called hard onset. He pushes sound out with minimal air over the vocal folds then transitions to the low vocal to make dynamics. you can hear harsh onset used often in the track viking by slaughter to prevail!

The Sleep Token masks were because this performance took place on Halloween so they dressed like them. And the Motionless In White background is simply because they were touring with MIW for their last headlining tour, which this show was part of, I believe
