After the first few minutes I was thinking "this game is so gloomy and unsettling in a specific way...very intense and detailed...does this game take place in Poland? Yeah, it is. The main character even has a pixelated picture of John Paul II on his wall." I admire the meticulous attention to detail in the environment, ambient and lighting. I felt like I was in my aunt's apartment, but when I was younger.

I love the graphics in this game, a lot of "retro styled" games make their human models look so ugly, but this guy's got such a cute face! the animations are really nice too!
@endrgarАй бұрын
I totally agree. In this retro style game some actions are animated and the faces are very nicely done for retro, also there is even a mouth animation that looks good for retro style.This is something that is sorely lacking in games of this style.
@FirebreederX1Ай бұрын
this is somewhere between ps2 and ps1, the body proportion is ps2 and head was around ps1, noway ps2 looks like that but maybe becaus3 its easier to make human model like that because its just the texture change to make them change expressions or moving the moith, ehich makes it easier to reuse the model for other char with diff texture

Really liked that it focuses on horror and dev doesn't feel it needs combat and whatnot (bit of a dig at SH4 and some others, I'll admit). Both endings are cool, too, I like how it won't reward you for doing a longer run by calling it the "right one", but seeing how things could develop is still rewarding in and of itself.

Wanna know something, First Person Point-n-Click is one of the essentials to an Immersive Simulator. If you look at Ultima Underworld, System Shoc 1&2, Thief 1&2, and others they ALL have that element. FPS Point-n-Click is basically VR with VR

I feel like there’s easily much more story to be experienced for both endings. Would genuinely love to see this continued somehow, either as routes for either ending or somehow put elements from both endings together for a third, converging (or “true”) route. Just for the sake of exploring the lore and what else is going on here. Great game as it is, but also really good setup for potentially a bigger story.

This was amazingly great, I really liked it. Click on more if you want spolier-ish info. But yet again the story confuses me, it seems that it takes place in Poland in some alternative reality where a religious entity became so powerful that they can barge in unannounced and do whatever they want? Damn, you know the police would love that power! Also, clearly there's some alien creatures causing seismic disturbances, but what about that "crack wall"? Seems Mr. Jesper Kyd (The Protagonist that is, looks a lot like him) is not the only one though, Mr. Gnida could have had a very similar problem too. Seems to me that the "wall cracks" are illusions meant to..."Integrate" humans with these hulking aliens, maybe Mr. Jesper Kyd had enough willpower to resist them somehow, while Mr. Gnida completely succumbed.
