Every man should own certain items by age 30, and I would like to review these items in no particular order. You need all of them, so if you don't have them, go get them.Before I start, you need to have a direction by the age of 30. You need to put the sh^t behind you that's been plaguing you since you were a little kid. You need to upgrade your style and mentality. You need to take care of your physical health and upgrade your body. Focus on the things that you can control, and you will get there. That said, if you don't have any of these, get them:
Passport and proper luggage. Everyone should start traveling to expand their minds and to experience badass places.
Proper wallet. You should not overly stuff it or have it packed. Do not have a wallet with velcro or logos. As a mature man, you need to upgrade your wallet to something slim and minimal.
Reliable transportation. It doesn't matter if it's a car, bus, bike, or skateboard. You just need to be able to get to your job.
Proper job. It doesn't need to be the best, but you need to have gainful employment.
Proper residence. You should not be living with your parents. You should have your own place. Sure, you can have roommates, but you should not be living with Mom and Dad unless it's strategic to pay off debt or save money.
Gym membership.
Non-athletic sneakers.
High-quality casual footwear. Boat shoes suck.
Dress shoes. Whether or not brown or black, you need these dress shoes to combine with a tailored suit.
Tailored suit. Do not have a big and boxy suit. You need one amazingly tailored suit in navy blue or charcoal.
Custom-tailored white button-up shirt. It needs to be white and crisp and does not have yellow pit stains.
Simple white t-shirt. It's the most versatile casual shirt a man can wear. It can be worn with shorts, chinos, or denim.
Perfect pair of denim. These jeans should make your package look sexy, and your booty look banging.
Grown-up belt. It should not have added holes, nicks, and gnarls. Choose an Anson belt, which is the cleanest and sexiest belt with no holes and a simple track system.
Proper polo. Do not rock a little boy polo.
Axe body spray. You stink if you're wearing that. Choose a fragrance that elevates your game.
Proper timepiece. Tech watches are functional, but so is your phone. Your wrist should have a watch that is your greatest accessory.
Proper pair of shades. Choose from adult styles such as Wayfair, Clubmasters, or Aviators.
Proper bag. Opt for an over-shoulder bag or a proper type of backpack.
Dignity.
Impulse control. When somebody suggests doing something stupid, have the ability to focus.
Goals. Have an idea of what you want in life rather than wandering around. Explore different options -- get a North Star and move towards it.
Budget. Live below your means. Do not have a bunch of high credit card debt.
Delayed gratification. Put off now for the future.
Higher quality people. Surround yourself with healthy relationships and higher-quality people (and know you can outgrow people).

1:17... staying at mom, dad's place isnt something a bad thing... its a good thing... i don't understand the concept of staying away from your parents in the west... for job, ofcouse that's a different thing, but if you have a jobin the same city, why stay away from your parents??? 1st of all its a bond thing, 2nd less house mean less expenditure, and 3rd if you ran into any trouble, or illness, your parents would be the one who will be there to support you immediately... almost every single Indian live with our parents, so does that mean we arent good enough?? even in america, Indian stay with their parents

You are correct
@TheCoolwhipped
@TheCoolwhipped 2 ай бұрын
You don't have to move out of the city or town, but you should be out of the house. It's about living on your own and learning that responsibility, because unless you do it, you naturally rely on your parents. It's one thing to do it for helping them out or to save up money/ pay off debt, but otherwise men especially should 100% be out on their own by their 30s. If for no other reason than to simply know how much it actually costs to live on your own and the effort it takes to own property.
@arun_kumar0
@arun_kumar0 2 ай бұрын
@@TheCoolwhipped thats BS... whose parents want their children to leave their home and live separately... the logic that you are giving me to learn responsibility, start by taking care of your own parents 1st, they are old and need their children's support... that's why you guys never think about anyone else but yourself... you lived your whole life alone and when you don't have money anymore you run back to your mom and dad... so why waste money on 2 home, 2 transport, 2 meal... we live in a joint family and that's how we build our relationship and responsibility... almost all in India (if they don't have a job in a different city) lives in a joint family

I want my own place ASAP as I live with my parents atm but I’ve been between many different jobs over the past year, & I don’t even have my own car yet. I’m 25 & trying to work towards getting my own car first & get used to paying for that since it would be my first car ever. Idk what income amount I would need to be able to afford my own place, pay for my own car, & live with a roommate or on my own in South Florida where rent has been increasing like crazy
@Soundsofthewood
@Soundsofthewood 2 ай бұрын
I live in the same situation. My parents need me to help them and my work pays the rent. I would recommend you find something that you can afford and learn to repair it if needed. That's kinda why I'm a mechanic. There is no cheap places to live in Florida at the moment. I know because I live here. Probably better off just saving your money and waiting for the market to come down. Better to own vs rent to be honest. Maybe look at a trailer house since they're usually cheaper to get into.

Disagree with a few. Gym membership. In my opinion, it's only needed if you plan on working out at the gym all the time. A lot of people have gym memberships. They pay the fee and never go. Other people have home gyms. travelling. It's good to do if you have the money to do so. Many people can't afford to travel. Nothing wrong with that. You want to expand your mind. Read a book. Having your own place. Whether you like it or not, some families live together in multigenerational households. Some move out when they get married. I see nothing wrong with that because it's their custom. A grown-up wallet. Agree that one should have a grown-up wallet. Disagree that it should be slim and minimal. I personally hate those wallets. My father had a leather wallet. I have a leather wallet. Worked for him and it works for me.
