As a short man myself who has had to accept some hard truths, I understand that women are going to be attracted to what they're attracted to. It's not their fault, because no one has any say in choosing what does and doesn't turn them on. Women generally prefer tall men, and I am simply not a tall man and never will be. I do what I can, I take care of myself, and I still strive to be the best man I can be even in spite of this setback. Absolutely right, charm, sense of humour, taking good care of your image, etc. will go a long way in 'compensating' for height. Statistically women really care about height, but if my personal testimony is worth anything, my boyfriend is shorter than me, and it's never been a problem. Now he loves the image it creates, because when people see us together, they give him the look (or comment) like "You must have a fat wallet or a fat **** to date her!" and we find it hilarious. :)

Got all of it in abundance, but one, and it is the one that I cannot change: height. Anyone that thinks it is just a preference has never lived a day as a man who is shorter than average. It is literally a show-stopper. Sure, I've had success and long term relationships, but it is an irrational prejudice (really, all the "primal instinct" b.s. is... b.s. It is just a socially invented prejudice that women are very conscious about). BLM is a hot button topic these days, but one of last and "socially acceptable" bigotries is height bigotry. Think about it. People will be all aboard to support systemic marginalization due to visible ethnicity, but, any talk of of marginalization due to height is countered with "Its just a preference, get over it". We need to be just as intolerant of this type of bad behavior as we are on racism. Can you imagine if women couldn't get a decent paying job because of their gender... but apparently short men are due to prejudice with the euphemism of "preference".
