The whole thing with the mask and dashing outfit, the calling card, all those tropes. you can see the sam with masque demask in ace attorney, in a lot of media!

The problem I see with this game is that Peach’s voice is constantly changing between the Mario 64 direction and modern direction. One minute, she’s high pitched and bubbly, then the next she’s more monotone and subdued.

@@KirbyKips Her voice...is constantly changing in general depending on the role. But when not in an outfit...she's just just 'calm' or 'slightly excited'...she doesn't drastically switch from say, Detective Peach to (Mario Wonder) Peach. It's not nearly that big a change.

If you liked this aesthetic Jacob, then you should try out Puppeteer! It’s like a play with curtains and stage turns and everything but the main villains are based on the Chinese zodiac and you have to collect heads to do special things. Also you have a pair of scissors as a weapon! Fun game! Highly recommend

The cat is a Projector though, not Camera. The overarching theme of the bosses are different uses of lighting in theater. By no means professional terms, but they seem to represent Decorative, Nessisity, Props, and Highlights in that order.

the game is a lot of fun, and usually looks great. but i dont understand why the LOADING SCREENS, of all things, turn the game into powerpoint slides. loading screens you can keep SO minimal and get away with it. some games just have a little icon. here its like, these elaborate curtains that are consistently 2 frames per second.

I hope this doesn't sound mean but this looks like the perfect game to let someone that knows nothing about games into games, the control scheme is very simple, controls are very forgiving and it's very easy to understand what you have to do! (Plus some very nice animations and good feedback)

I'll be honest, I agree with Alpharad. It looks really ugly to me and I see why he hates it. Granted, I don't know color theory all that much, but those two shades of color don't look very good together. A darker purple might've worked, or a different shade entirely. The ones they picked bother me so much. Some of the other dresses he Dislikes though, I can understand it, but I liked a lot of them like the pinstripe and cake one. Even the Mighty one, as bedsheety as it was.
