I just had this idea from a random person in the chat replay in the video, but WHAT IF there WAS an imposter role that could fake its own death? As it stands, Altruist is irrefutable information that not only has zero interaction between it and the imposter, but there's also no interaction between it and the rest of crew. Remember, crew has to play the game not knowing anything except for their own innocence, which makes Altruist nearly irrefutable information. There's no thought happening, aside from "yes". So what if there was an imposter role that could fake its own death once per game, and just appear dead on vitals for a little bit and try to essentially muddy the whole information waters and use it as a fake altruist call or something when they're found alive? Or maybe even a fake guess call in meetings? But then after the meeting they would just be alive and that would fall apart, but I'm sure a smarter person than me could make it work. Essentially i think it would be a really interesting way to manipulate the information available to crew and provide some much needed counterbalance to the irrefutability of altruist, and provide a lot more grounds for thought and debate on what people are claiming.

That's a fair point! I guess I saw that it's pretty hard to win role- people can do process of elimination in a swap, and once you know someone got swapped then of course you would know there's a swapper- there's a risk of the swapper turning over one of your teammates? The people could just skip the meeting entirely to that ability would be used- it's just hard to see how could a swapper win unless they have like the matrix or smth lol
