From what I can see it picks a word to replace, but it doesn't care about any surrounding characters, often resulting in large words randomly having "butt" in them because the replaced subset of characters was a word itself. So if all you typed was "butt" it could output either "butt" or "buttt". This is only from my observations though, I could be wrong.

When clear conditions like "all 7 spinies must be killed," they don't respawn because Nintendo doesn't want the player killing the same spiny over and over again to get the clear condition.

I remember that second level, and most of the ones so far, but I don't remember the devblock dungeon being featured on alphas channel. It was interesting to see him try and make hidden blocks an interesting feature, but in doing so he didn't really make then hidden.
