Super Mario party was bad for 3 reasons: the grid-based maps were boring, there were only 4 of them, and the economy on coins and stars was completely broken and made it meaningless to do well at minigames

Not a chance. The composer, illustrator and writer for Danganronpa left to form their own game studio who are making that new game so unless Chunsoft plays nice don’t count on them to working together on a new Danganronpa game.
