Attempt 5: to clear up a couple misunderstandings for Jacob: 1) you do not have to go for the beef on platform peril. You can actually jump over the walls. If you like jumping for the beef. By all means. 2) Slappy-go-round isn’t solved. You can counter the react strategy by doing short jumps into last minute ground pound. The opponent cannot react fast enough. Actually the techs in this minigame are pretty cool. You can even air stall with ground pound

tbf the pool of buddies is much shorter, I believe it's only Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Waluigi, Wario, and Yoshi pro rules also disables minigames heavily dependant on luck, and if 1 player isn't using joycons then the entire lobby doesn't get motion minigames it is funny that they keep pulling the same ones out of the pool tho, but the pool is much smaller than it looks lol

i THINK the elevator operator was 1) a class thing and 2) old elevators didn't / don't have safety mechanisms so part of their job is making sure you / your things don't get caught in the door and destroyed. Can also be there to enforce weight restrictions if its a low capacity elevator. but mostly, its to make the place look high end

​@@asherdevinthis is such a weird comment, I know it's supposed to be a joke but it's just weird for starters people losing their jobs to automation are mostly people in arts and crafts, specifically artists and artisans, but also generally anyone who works at producing in industries and online customer service most of these jobs are also considered "lower end" jobs aka unnecessary just like the people who take the trash, janitors, etc so if they can be replaced by a machine they will and are the elevator one while in comparison might seem like a lower end job and pretty unnecessary, if you read the comment you'd see it's not just about cleanliness but also about the service itself luxury nowadays is only seen as paying big money for a singular thing, but actually in ye olden times (10~20 years ago) luxury was more of an experience the experience of being treated like a king, and even more regardless of if you were buying anything or not that's why these luxurious buildings and shops have services like this that might seem redundant or completely useless, because a soap dispenser isn't going to offer the same experience as a person serving you

Just as I don't need someone making the elevator more crowded if I'm that guest. A guided tour, sure. A receptionist, sure. I don't need someone who's only job is to push a button for me. Just as I don't need someone who's job is to exclusively open doors, or someone to flush the toilet for me. Would you pay 50% more at a store if they had someone to push the cart for you? I was going to say artists add value, but seeing as how a lot of the corporate art I've seen (example photos, web decorations, etc.) are all generic, I suppose you're right. Anyone can pay for a generic "Man in suit giving thumbs up #12" or "Diverse people sitting around an office #32". I would say you need them for more artistic things like movies and games, but the big versions of those have also seemed pretty lazy lately. If we're already getting AI quality out of those industries then why not, right?
