Indiana is the female singer, Tim Capello is the sax player, the song is a love letter to 80's action and vampire films. Tim Capello was the Sax player in the 80's Cult classic Lost Boys. You can also find references for blade, Buffy, the predator, the lost boys and a cloony movie that escapes my mind atm. The genre of the song is sythwave which is a very 80's sounding musical style

I thought that sax was too like the sax from Lost Boys (including the artistic depiction of him heavily referencing his scene). It makes total sense.

As already stated this genre is called Synthwave or retrowave... The music is fairly processed but has that 80's Feel. If you like that sax check out a band called "The Midnight" especially the tracks Vampires, Crystalline, Shadows, and Gloria

Gunship are (I believe) a Duo that often bring in guest singers. They are also in love the the 80's, especially the movies. Hardly a video of theirs is not a love letter to an 80's film genre.

I heard of this song cause I’ve always been a fan of Tim Capello(the sax player) he was in The Lost Boys and had a song featured on there. Always loved that movie and song too so when I heard this and saw the video I was even more into this song when I saw all the nods to The Lost Boys and also Buffy, Blade, all the vampire things I loved growing up 🤣

The Video is full of references to Vampire pop movie and tv shows. It had Buffy, Blade, and Seth Gecko (from Dusk till Dawn). also a lot of references to The Lost Boys (1987) including the Sax. GUNSHIP is known for their geek references in their songs and music videos. Suggestion: GUNSHIP - Fly For Your Life [Official Music Video] [ kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKeUi4FumJmSfdU ]

@@dreadnought_official_YT This is clearly a homage to The Lost Boys. The music video opens to Santa Clara, Murder capital of the world, where The Lost Boys is set. The sax player, Tim Cappello, is on The Lost Boys soundtrack and in seen playing the saxophone the movie. And the villain was clearly David from the movie. Lost Boys are even mentioned in the lyrics.

Gunship: Dark all Day was made in a way so as to specifically give you retro-wave vibes. The Sax player is Tim Capello from 'The Lost Boys" and it features a few of the other characters from the movie as well. You also have Buffy and Blade. I have no idea who the third enforcer is. There's other elements of 80's sci-fi Fantasy in here as well. It's all to give you a Visual/Audio kick in the nuts in the form of 80's/90's Synthwave, which is referred to as Retro-Wave by today's standard.

Unless you grew up with 80's movies or anything vampire related.... The references will fly right over your head. If you did you would love the video even more. And no those were not band member names, those were characters from The Lost Boys from 1987, don't know if you'll ever watch it anytime soon but there you go. Our Current Generation needs to do their homework on previous pop culture, back when it was awesome.
