Meine Frau und ich haben das Konzert in Hannover mit Orchester erleben dürfen. Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute einfach nur grandios. Die Band absolute spitze, das Orchester im Zusammenspiel top, tolle Arrangements, geben den Songs noch mehr Tiefe, Marian Gold ist ein begnadeter Sänger mit toller Ausstrahlung. Ein absolutes Erlebnis.

The song was released 1984. I am born and grew up in (West) Berlin, I was 18 y.o. and enjoyed the summer here in Berlin at the wall. I made my driving license, started to study and thought the wall will last forever. Today Berlin is a totally different town. The city of my childhood is gone. Also the East-Germans are free now... as we in the West have been all the time. But I still miss the old Berlin, these unique special town where I grew up...😢

Ich bin Baujahr 1969 und bin ein Neuköllner. Deshalb habe ich mir z.B. die 44 tätowieren lassen. Diese Zeiten damals waren anders, unbeschwerter, freier, obwohl wir ne Mauer um uns hatten. Jede Zeit hat seine Daseinsberechtigung und es ist gut, dass die Mauer weg ist, aber du hast recht, wenn du sagst, dass die Stadt meiner Kindheit nicht mehr da ist. Genau aus diesem Grund bin ich raus aus Berlin. Meine Mutter lebt aber immer noch im Kiehlufer.

Aber, du hast damit recht, dass es solch einen Flow nicht nochmals geben wird. Es war einzigartig und es wird nie wieder etwas Ähnliches geben. Genau aus diesem Grund schwelge ich immer in der Vergangenheit. Ich liebe es immer wieder zu meiner Mutter nach Neukölln zu kommen, bin aber froh, da wieder herauszukommen, weil es eben nicht mehr mein Neukölln ist.
