These are the results of the 240 consumption tests, when my battery arrives and i get the full system up and running i'll do the DC tests, i doubt they will be much differant though, i dont thnk the power brick is using much of the 0.9w it uses on standby but we'll see ?
From my dodgy maths i make 36w = 3A (ish cos it's actually running at 14V not 12) if we round up the on time to 5 mins (for ease of the calculation) and times it by the 3 times it comes on every hour we get 9A, 3 times 5 mins is 15 mins which is 1/4 of an hour so devide 9 by 4 and you get 1.5Ah
Is that anywhere near close to correct ? i'm really making up as i go along here ;) it's advertised as using around 1Ah ??
Somone correct me even better put the right way to work it out down ?
Over to you guys i'm in way over my head :)

8.19 watts per hour counting standby so 2/3 of an amp per hour. That's super efficient, brilliant. Two weeks I never replied to any comments an all seems to be working good 🙂 I hope your back gets better soon mate, I've three compressed vertebrae, I feel your pain 😆

Cheers for that chap 👍 i was hoping someone who knows what they're doing would correctly work it out 😁 👍 Glad you're able to interact again 😎 First damaged my back 27 years ago when the first disc impacted so sort of deal with it, being a mechanic never helped obv 🤣 Bobil water heater is on order and im hoping a LiFeP04 battery will be coming in a few weeks 😎 just need to have a scrap weigh in to pay for it 🤣 but worth it, i hope 👍

@@Dirt-Diggler The only thing I didn't add in was the slightly higher watts for the First 30 seconds and that was because of the four minutes of a little less than 36 watts. It averages out near enough to not mess up the outcome unless splitting hairs 😆 You took a break at the right time 😂 Looking forward to seeing your Bobil water heater setup 👍 LifePo4, much better than lithium-ion, more life cycles and safer 👍

@@pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN if all goes well I'll have a 280Ah battery with a 100A BMS, should be sufficient 🤔 I hope 🤞

@@pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN i audited my power and the max i can use is 58A , that's everything on at once 😁 but then i don't have an inverter, if i did I'd have gone for the 200A BMS and TBH even if it did fit one it'd be a300W one for tool charging and I'd run it off the ambulance system batterys which are 2 X 100Ah merc starter batteries EA1000s 😎 I've sent quite a bit on batteries 🤣🤣 no wonder I'm so tight with the rest of the conversion 🤔
