I got the second generation F#1 Status system in my Audi A4 B7. Did not build the car myself but met the guy who did. The system were around 25 000 pounds back then too. It sounds soooo good! My car won 52 prices in it's competitive life

What good does it do to spend that kind of money !as you're driving down the road and listening to road noise competing with your audio signal in a vehicle?? WITHOUT A DOUBT CAR AUDIO HAS GONE OFF THE RAILS . if you're going to waste that kind of money do it in home audio!!!!!!!.. .

Think of it as more of a what can be done kind of exercise. The things that Alpine discover along the development process trickle down into the Status, R-Series and S-Series ranges. So it does help us out indirectly. This is the third generation of F1 Status so it's nothing new them building a uber high-end system. Most of us won't own a Bugatti Veyron either, but it's cool to see.
