Hi Mike! Great job 👍🏻 Alpine S-S65 sounds good but I guess treble is a little on higher side? Do you recommend going for 2 JBL GTO609C Component speakers for front and rear door or JBL GTO609C + JBL GTO629 speakers or JBL GTO609C + Alpine S-S65C for good bass and balanced treble at the same time?

Thanks for your message, Mike. I just recently started to watch your videos because i am looking for speakers. One thing I definitely can tell, they are awesome. So many details. Like i said, I'm looking for 6.5" door speakers. I have speakers in front doors with separate tweeters and at the back just one speaker, no tweeters. This is all original stock speakers. I will connect all door speakers to the amplifier and also have subwoofer connected to a separate amplifier. I also have a centre dash speaker but not sure if should I replace it or not. Like you said in your ford fusion video, you haven't changed it. Do you mean JBL GTO 629 or is there another. Keep doing what you do. Your videos are great and very helpful. OG. Love your videos. Quick question. I’m on the fence between my first choice JBL stadium and my second choice infinity kappa. My car comes with components through out, 2 front twitters in the pillars and 2 back twitters closest to the headrest on the back seat. So my question is would you go with components, coaxial’s or mix I don’t have a woofer yet and will plan on adding a shallow mount woofer later or just no woofer at all. I usually don’t play a lot of bass but when I’m in the mood for it I wouldn’t mind having the extra kick. Thanks man.

Dammm!!! Bad ass job bro. The sound was incredible. You choose the right system for that car... I have a 2019 Nissan Altima. I have the Rockville RVL69W Monster 6x9 subs. This car has a factory component system. I have the DS18 Pro-X6.4M on my doors they sound really good but these are 4 ohms. I've been trying so hard to find some beefy 6.5 2 ohms for my doors but the ones that have high rms I just can't afford them. If by any chance you know of some 2ohm 6.5 that are beefy and affordable plz let me know. Ok Mike thanks for all your videos you have yourself a great day. El grande...

Are Rockville amps dependable, and do they work well with the alpine systems? I have a music trying to tell me not to buy there amps and get one from them which is alpine as well but 300$ 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ he must think I’m stupid

have you tried the JBL´s in the fusion i checked some forums looking for advice in what speakers to install in the fusion with the SONY sound system and everyone was pointing to the JBLs GTO or JBLs Stadium. it´d be nice to see the JBLs in the fusion

Hi Mike. I am in the UK. I can't get S-S65 6.5" and S-S65C 6.5" speakers. I'm looking at upgraded versions S2-S65 6.5" (£135) and S2-S65C 6.5" (£161). A question is, are they worth it or not? ⁠@@TyGeerthat’s why you also need good speakers to tell the difference. I prefer my studio headphones and amp which I understand not everyone has a $1000ish setup but for me these tests are plenty useful. You can sort of compare sound on cheap headphones too but definitely not as accurate, but still should be able to tell the clarity in the sound at least for the most part.

@@Ethan-yg8me Your joking right? Tell the difference from what exactly? Dont you need a point of reference to tell a difference. Does the mic factor in? Or youtube compression? My point is those could be nearly any speaker and sound the same due to limitation not present in the speaker but the way you hear it. Making it not a good presentation for quality.

Hi Mike I have 2015 fusion with the large screen but no sony , Im not sure which to choose but only jbls gx628 or club 6520 will sound better with bass and power with oem radio

Hello everyone... I argued with an installer about replacing 4 speakers in the car Buick lacrosse 2012 The installer offered me straight alpine s65c Go ahead and back alpine s65 I mentioned that I don't intend to put an amplifier and if 65c which is a component will give enough power I asked why not put speakers without good components because there is no amplifier, but he still insisted that the vehicle is correct and will give value I checked the prices and together they are not cheap together The problem is not the price, but you can get quality speakers without a component for this price or even less... He claimed that alpine is still among the best today and still take the component and if I'm not satisfied put an amplifier even though I mentioned several times that I'm not interested in an amplifier In conclusion, the installer recommended component front speakers even if I don't connect an amplifier.. what do you think Thanks
