Does this sub hit the high and low bass notes well? Also do you have only one sub, and what amp are you using? I was looking at a JL Audio JD250/1 with 250rms at 2ohms. Would that suffice do you think?

High and low bass .I have only one subwoofer in trunk.My amp RMS 300W x 1 (4om) and sub RMS 350W (2+2om).You need amp min 300W RMS (4om) for good bass.

The sub can handle lows and highs but THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE SUB IT IS THE SUB BOX PERIOD. BY USING A SMALL SUB BOX IT IS FOR HIGHS ONLY NOT LOWS SO YOU ALL HAVE TO PICK WHICH IT IS GOING TO BE A LOW END SUB BOX ARE AND HIGH SPL TYPE MAKE A CHOICE
