Alpine, TX

Alpine was our 4th stop on our journey through Texas. We saw ragged mountains and amazing rock features. We visited Fort Davis National Historic Site, Marfa, and the McDonald Observatory. We also saw our first Roadrunner and a herd of Javelinas. It was nice weather; cool, but not cold, but with lots of high winds.
