Today we checked out a new alpine trail and some mining equipment that seems to have been abandoned.

No need to apologize for the drone work. I'm thrilled that you even were able to get it in the air so we could enjoy the experience.

So much fun. Bruce has been busy with his show the last few years, and unfortunately missed a few of these. It was so fun for us to just explore, on our own time. The LJ will be back in December, she’s resting.

As you headed off onto the wild trails around 2 mins and 40 secs , I was not sure if that was spooky music to set the mood of what was to come, or just some jeep noises and exhaust resonance... those trails could use a Large Marge with chainsaws strapped to the side mirrors... that would keep the tracks clear... Thanks Bruce, not only do you help me time travel on the trails, but also fly... I get super powers from your videos... and what a beautiful place you live in and get to explore...

Cool to see you in this part of the Kootenays! We started exploring it on ATV's 20+ years ago before it was well known by off roaders, so many mining trails were open back then. I miss the Incomappleau valley especially Teddy Glacier and above Camborne - Pool creek and Mohawk creek. The shelf road up Rady wasn't spectacular except for the view into the upper Lardeau after a short hike, we didn't see any adits. Your second road looked like Silvercup mine road and we never found any open adits up there except for one sketchy one lower down right beside the road. Looks like a new placer claim up towards Badshot mountain, I remember that creek crossing being narrower and a lot deeper when it wasn't well used. If you have a chance to attempt Triune I'd recommend it but probably on a SxS, it was narrow in a few spots and 2 tight switchbacks as well.

You Drone work, and driving is impressive 18:06 When it the JK going to get Trail-erized like the LJ, for trails like this.. 26:44 That is a good sized trommel for being up in the wilderness, and about a 1/2 a million dollar piece of machinery..

One of my favourite places to ride is the Trout Lake area. Thanks for taking us along. But I'm surprised you didn't fill up at the Trout Lake convenience store. It's always an experience to use those 100 year old fill stations. Love the drone footage, by the way.
