We can't help but feel that we've captured Alpine right before their inevitable explosion, having just finished a national tour in support of their debut album "A is for Alpine" and performing to a sell out crowd at the Corner. For a band that seem to have sprung out of nowhere, they've already scored an international record deal, supported the likes of Matt Corby and somehow convinced a bunch of chicks to parade semi-nude for their music video.
And that ladies and gentlemen, is the segway to the explanation for the undies you see in the clip.
We took them on a journey up route 112 to Fitzroy, stopping bang in the middle of Brunswick Street. They belted out three tracks; Hands, Gasoline and Villages. Some passengers missing their stop because they couldn't bare to miss out on the action...can't blame them really!
This is the first clip released from the session featuring the track "Hands". Be sure to check these guys out next time they're in your town.
