A tip for gardens with crops: put the plants in *raised beds*. That makes them easy to harvest - especially tubers and roots - so you don't have to crouch. It even works for disabled people, which is great for accesibiity when the farmrs are communal - you can see an example of that on JerryRigEverything's channel (his wife is on a wheelchair and they have a garden full of crops in raised beds).
