Keep the 1-10-1 rule in mind. You have **one minute** to calm down and regulate your breathing. A panicked swim for more than one minute will likely lead to a drowning injury or death. You have **ten minutes** to self-rescue. After ten minutes, you lose the ability to use your limbs to crawl out of the water. If you can’t self-rescue. Try to freeze your gloves, sleeves, hair, beard … anything … to the ice so that you maintain an open airway. After **one hour,** you will be hypothermic. Severe hypothermia can be difficult to recover from, even if hospitalized.

I've grown up with bone-chilling winters my entire life. I used to really hate winter...until I realized I had two choices. I could either find things to do in the winter to make myself feel happier. Or I could just continue to be a whiny little bitch about weather I cannot change. Thankfully, I chose the former. I learned how to ice skate last year and go on the ice as much as I can (still trying to overcome my fear of going backwards haha). I also just started to go snowtubing for the first time and really love it.

A very good declaration. Because of more and more ice accidents every year, your responsibility about your own sport and motivated people in this sport is great, thanks..........

VG

Hey, I have a problem with my new skates, they are very sharp. The problem is that it is completely impossible to do the hockey stop (the drift. idk if u see what I mean). Can you help me pls ?

Switch to runners that are not that sharp or get a less aggressive sharpening.
