I’ve been waiting for a review on this specific suit! Thanks for another comprehensive video. GREAT job. I believe I found my next suit. I love all black and this is the only one out there I’d consider. I currently wear a 48EU in Dainese jackets and pants. I’m hoping a 48EU will also work for this suit (w/Forcefield back/chest protectors). STG creates the best content and reviews... Thanks again!

You are welcome and thanks for watching. The cut of this suit runs a little to the larger side. If you are a 48euro you may need a 46 in this suit. If you are wearing the Forcefield Sub4 Back Protector and a chest protector the 48 may be the size as the Sub4 is pretty thick. - Van

I really like the look, should also make a nice base to get some decals applied to but at least from anecdotal evidence the cheaper Alpinestars suits don't seem to crash too well. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts as well on which suits are adequate for track use and which might be better suited to street use. Cheers!

Brian great review as always. I love this murdered out suit. Most sport bike riders are over 25 so all these colourful suits and bikes jsit looks silly we as men need to mature. I ride a black bike, wear all black with bkzck helmet and black visor and I'm also half black. I'm a short guy with muscular build. 5 foot 7 with 44 inch chest and 34 inch waist. I'll be wearing thsi with a black protector and chest protector. You said this runs a little large would you reccomend I go down to EU 52 or stay with, 54? I'll have, to get legs and sleeve cut regardless Thanks big man

I really need your weight to make a recommendation. 54 should cover 180 to 200 and the 52 should go 160 - 179. There are of course exceptions but this is a great starting point. - Van

Hey Van, currently running a 50 in the old (2014) GP Tech suit. Im 5'10 171p and pretty athletic (42inch chest and 32inch waist). The GP tech pulls on my traps, tried a somewhat recent GP plus in 52 and was ok, butmaybe old style fitment. But you look snug in 54, Im 25 pounds lighter so wondering if the 52 in the new style would be too big.

I would put you in a size 52 Euro in the Alpinestars suits that offer the latest cut. This should get you a fit very similar to the fit I have with a 54. When you receive the suit make sure to try it on in the house to evaluate the fit before you ride in it. If you find it is tighter than you like we can always get you into an exchange. - Van

The armor pockets are going to be sized a little different to accommodate the size and shape of the armor that comes in the suit. Personally I feel the armor that comes in this suit is more than adequate so I would not change it. We do not change the armor in Max's race suits. - Van

The suit looks superb. I'm similar body shape as you. When I've tried alpinestars missile size 44, I had a problem with armpits and arms (to tight). Suit was unconfortable on bike. How do you feel in this one on the bike. Any restriction in arm area (size 44)?

This suit features Alpinestars new cut which runs about one full size larger than marked. When the Missile first came out it was in their traditional cut which was smaller than the cut used on this suit. - Van

Hey Van I'm interested in buying this. I just purchased the tech air 10 xl and a mission ignition suit (version 1?) yesterday at my local shop it fits a little snug im sure better when it breaks in.. The orange is ok but a little much for the street. I like the black. According to your video this version fits better. Do you think it will work? If it doesn't. What is your return policy

As long as you have enough room under the suit to allow for a deployment no reason you can not use it. If you order this from us make sure to wear it in the house long enough to know whether you are happy with the fit before you ride in it. If you need to return please make sure it is not ridden in and you keep all the bags and tags. - Van

I would say these suits are very close to one another. The biggest difference between them is the Graphite has the new fit pattern which I feel is a little nicer than the previous one. Both are excellent suits. - Van

I'm thinking of buying this one, I think I'm a 54 as well after testing it once. The question is does the suit get bigger after a while? If 54 is a perfect fit when it's new, does it get saggy later on when it's used?

If the suit fits really well right off the hanger it will not stretch very much. It will only stretch if it is a little on the tight side when it is new. - Van

At 5' 9" 140ish my Son Max was able to wear the 48 euro in the GP Tech V3 with a good fit. I think you would be best sticking with the 46 euro in this suit. It will be a bit bigger than the Motegi but should still get you a good fit. - Van

Im 5.11 with a 32 waist as well but no where near as ripped as this dude so I weigh about 176 pounds, I currently have a size 52 Berik 2 piece suits which fits fine I thought but I could be wrong. Great video, can you help please? It's so hard to buy a suit, sight unseen and not able to try it on first. I really love the Spidi Track Wind Pro suit, it's normally like $1300, but on FC Moto with their sale right now it's down to $730 bucks!!! I just don't know if they fit small or big? I'm 5'6.5" and 170lbs. I don't know if I should get a size 48 or 50? What do you think? I do want to get the new Alpinestars airbag vest at some point to wear under it, so should I get the size 50?

You can not add the Astars airbag vest to the Spidi suit. If you need helmet with sizing and plan to buy it from FCmoto you should reach out them. - Van

I know the compatible suits will have the indicator LED thingy on the arm or wherever, but I didn't know you can ONLY wear it with Alpinestars compatible stuff. Oh well. I don't know where I'm gonna buy it from, I was just mentioning how low that price is. I don't know if I wanna order from Europe, in this coronavirus time it may take forever to get here 😂 Also I don't do track riding yet, but I like the look of the track/race suits and the protection they offer. I currently have an Icon jacket and Alpinestars pants. The pants are a size L and the knee protectors fall down below my knee lol. It's not till I'm on the bike and hike them up that they sit where they are supposed too. In a crash I worry they won't stay where they need to be :( My jacket has good protection in shoulders, elbows and back but nothing for my chest, which I'd like to solve that problem quick as spring is just about here.. 😀

Hello! I ordered this suit from you guys and just got it! I have a couple questions.... It's really tight in my chest area, which means there's no room for chest protectors. This is my first ever race suit so I'm not entirely too sure how it's supposed to feel. How long is the break in period? I'm just sitting in my living room right now wearing it and trying to get the break in started. I'm wondering if I should move up to a EUR 60 (ordered a EUR 58), but I'm just worried it might be too long in the arms. As it sits right now, the arms are borderline being too long. Legs and arms feel pretty good. Not too tight at all. I can get to a full squat no problem. The suit is absolutely stunning. Thanks for your time!!!
