I am finding a Dainese steel pro with a discount with the similar price range with this. If I have to choose one, which one should I? I do sprinted ride on the street with couple of track days.

Old vision R3 is CE 2KP but R4 only 1KP, and change to inside stitch, so what makes this happened?

To me only important thing is maximum safety i just wonder should i buy alpinestars gp pro r4 or supertech gloves or dainese full metal 7.. Also i want to use in winter for rainy days too. I don't expect it to stay completely dry, but I don't want the gloves to be damaged for long use. Im waiting for ur answers please

I haven't tried full metal 7 yet but I own the full metal 6, gp pro r3 and gp pro r4. I don't feel as comfortable wearing full metal as wearing the other two. It's much stiffer and has less tactile feedback. It also feels less ventilated so it's definitely warmer in hot weather. I also favors the pinky bridge link mechanism but that's just my opinion.

Full metal 7 offer the max protection but in the uk they are not far from twice the price of these gloves.

Don't buy the dainese gloves if durability is a top priority. The goat skin palm tears easily, especially if you sweat a lot. I'm a hardcore dainese fan, but their gloves just don't last. I'll only buy a glove with a kangaroo leather palm.

Would i need to upsize for these gloves?
@RevZilla5 ай бұрын
Depends on where you sit in the size chart, however we found the fit really good right out of the box. If you are between sizes and prefer and very tight fit (to let the leather break-in), going down a size is definitely possible. Most riders should be fine with their normal fitment though.

If anything, you would downsize. Medium R3 fit me great but were very tight going on and on and off. The medium R4 fits great and slides right on.

So what’s the difference between the gp pro r4 and the rS4 version??
@RevZillaАй бұрын
The R4 has a Kangaroo palm while the RS4 has a Goat leather palm. Otherwise they are identical. Sadly, the biggest market in the US for motorcycles (California) does not allow the sale of Kangaroo leather without licensing so Alpinestars offers the same gloves with that small tweak in that palm material.

@@RevZilla the glove that you reviewed in this video is the RS4 not the R4. Your title says R4. You mention kangaroo palm in this video, that’s why I asked because I was confused.
@RevZillaАй бұрын
Think you might be confused and have it backwards: The RS4 didn't exist when this video was shot back in the Spring, as it just launched a few weeks ago. The R4 in this video / title / being reviewed has the Kangaroo Palm w/ Goat leather down the rest of the glove. The RS4 that just launched, not shown in this video, is the Goat Leather glove so it can be sold in non-Kangaroo markets. So the video / information / title is correct - as we talk about the Kangaroo palm in the video. We won't be shooting a video on the Goat-only RS4 as it identical to this glove and isn't worth the identical review otherwise.

@@RevZilla I just bought the “ RS4 “ version. They look just like these you just reviewed, literally 100% identical. There’s some pictures on your website and also cycle gears website that shows the GP PRO 4s without the aramid stitching on the palm/finger areas, the photos are confusing. Both gp pro 4 & rs4 have mixed pictures with and without the aramid stitching on the palm / fingers
@RevZillaАй бұрын
Not really sure how to help you further here. R4 = kangaroo palm, RS4 = goat palm. Otherwise they are identical. Looks, features, colors, etc. Only difference is the palm material for sales in certain markets.
