I typically wear an extra-large size in Alpinestars gloves. When I purchased these gloves, they fit well overall, but the thumbs were unusually long. I decided to exchange them for a large size, which still fits, but the thumbs remain long.

@@jaime55924 as one of these aliens i appreciate their sizing. I have very narrow hands with long fingers (EU size 9 width x EU size 11 length) so i usually have to resort to the small hand full of brands offering over length sizes. These things are gonna rock even more once broken in. 🤘🏻 The sizing seems just a hair larger than the R3 so keep that in mind when ordering. The medium may now be great for those L size R3s that were a hair big. AStars did well with the all new redesign. Other than the downgrade to 1 KP protection level. 😢

I come from India where temperature goes upto 45°c or more during summers so would suggest buying it, in these high temperatures ?? Do tell cause we don't have a store to try out these gloves so importing it is the only option for us. Thanks
@sportbiketrackgearАй бұрын
While this glove does have some ventilation like any other full gauntlet gloves these will not flow air like a pair of short mesh gloves. Personally I have never felt like my hands were too hot while riding in a pair of gloves. I believe the venting from the helmet and the jacket are far more important than the gloves. It is also important to note the protection a full gauntlet pair of gloves offers exceeds that of a short mesh glove. - Van

What's the break-in for these? The pinky seems to be bothering me and would hate to not see this improve overtime...
@sportbiketrackgear7 ай бұрын
We find most gloves like these will break in relatively quickly as long as they are pretty close to being good right out of the bag. I would wear them in the house long enough to know they will only require a little riding in them to break in perfectly. If they feel way too tight when they are new they may be too tight to break in properly. - Van

Are in-seams really the safest ? I low-sided with my Knox androids mk4 and the tip of my pinky opened up. Since then, I only use gloves with external seams
@sportbiketrackgear6 ай бұрын
Over the decades I have been doing this I would say the internal seams typically hold up a little better. End of the day each crash is unique and all that matters is if you were injured or not.
