I bought Missile v2 and took to track. It's comfortable yet has race feel to it. I love it, feels like all my money spent on good stuff. I also love the pocket on calves for someone like me who has pretty big calves. Fits well with alpinestars boots and gloves as well.

My first track day with this suit is in two weeks, should be a much needed upgrade from an old suit from 1999. I went with a race fit so hopefully I have room for an airbag later on.

I've noticed as a somewhat new rider, the designs and color options have reduced in quality significantly over the years. A custom suit is just about someone's only option for anything that isn't white, black, or red. Kind of sucks

Seems like the main reason to buy this over a Motegi for the Tech Air compatibility? If I’m not going to invest in that, should I buy the Motegi for the replaceable sliders?

If you plan on dragging elbows a lot, having the replaceable sliders are great. But the extra stretch built into the Missile will likely be more useful for most riders at the track.

Did it works with the Tech Air Race vest ? (Live the Missile ignition ) ..where is the led panel ?

No, the Tech Air Race vest is no longer supported in the new lines of Astars. This suit, and all of their new suits, will be compatible with the Tech Air 5 or Tech Air 10 units which no longer require plugging into the outer layers.

Can anyone tell me if the Alpinestars Missile V2 jacket is the same as the Alpinestars Missile V2 2-piece jacket? Are there any major differences between them, like the length or fit?

Hi - I’m looking for an Alpinestars 1-piece that has removable hip and tailbone armor so I can use my AS Nucleon Racing KR-HR .hip protectors and KLIM L2 tailbone protector. Does the Missile v2 have these features? Thanks!

You can remove the hip armor, but the foam impact help at the tail would need to be cut out. That's the case for all Alpinestars suits that features the foam back there as they don't make it removable and its sewn into the leather panels.
