Thanks for the video! I'm still debating which one is better - this vest or a KR-R / KR-1 protector. What was your particular reason to pick the vest instead of a protector?
@scoopingjoy32787 ай бұрын
The size of the protector is the key to fit in the jacket. The length of protector compartment for a 52 size jacket may not fit a large size protector. I think if I have to buy a protector alone I may have to buy a medium or small size to fit in my jacket. But when am going to buy the vest, I can be care less of the size of back protector compartment in my jacket and my racing suit. The brand or the model of racing suit can be any thing and don't have to worry fitting back protector or holding that in place..hope it helps.

Nice Video! May i know how you could clean the vest since the back protector cannot be removed?
@scoopingjoy32784 ай бұрын
I always wear it inside my jacket..so question of dirt accumulation does not arise.. only thing which I have to worry about is swear removal, for that I give it a good rinse couple of times in cold water and hang it out.. that does the job..

Thank you so much. I wonder why AS MY don't bring this in. I have the base jacket which I've never worn as it didn't feel conplete to me and adding on the back and front inserts don't make financial sense to me.

@@andrewtham7496 just like all the suppliers, they bought in excess of old stock and if they bring in new stock, no one will buy old stock.. (Pirelli distributor told me that) so that principle apply to Alpinestars too.. the old stock is more expensive than the new ones..unless retailer take a cut on the profit, old stock will not go either.. so we are in a dead lock.. so buying from FC moto was my only choice being in Malaysia. I totally understand what you mean..

I saw your review of AlpineStars Vest.I want to ask something about it. Is length of back protector shell 58 cm? And, can you take a better picture for me of it's manual (which you show in 2:26), I can't read it on video.

Can back protector be taking out like the chest protector
@scoopingjoy32786 ай бұрын
Hi, I checked it again..back protector cannot be removed from the vest..you might want to consider buying back protector alone,,more cheaper than vest.

Hi what is your waist measurement for large
@scoopingjoy32784 ай бұрын
@@ChristianKenda-ie1qp my waist size is 30-32 Inches..but the waist band of vest is stretchable and can probably go up to 36 inches, I think.
