No, none of the Alpinestars jackets come with a back protector insert. All of the jackets do include a pocket that will accept any of the Alpinestars back protector inserts. We no longer offer Dainese here at STG and it has been a while since I have seen or tried on any of their jackets which makes it hard to have a real opinion. That said Alpinestars makes a great jacket. - Van
