Alqosh is a Chaldean town not Assyrian, never was. The modern Assyrians (the Nestorian) were also Chaldeans before England invented the new ID for them for imperialistic reasons

Both Chaldeans and Assyrians are one nation, and the Chaldeans followed the Church of the East till the 15th century before they converted to Catholicism. Nestorianism is a religious belief not a shameful thing, however the claim that Assyrians are Nestorians is false and lack historical evidence.
