Just a heads up, there’s a good possibility you will regain if you discontinue it. That said, there are some who can. But it’s a minority. What helps though is to stay on it for at least a year after at maintenance. It helps the body “settle” at the new weight. I know some that have done that. Then they go off. But they keep an eye on their weight and if it starts to creep back up, they start taking it again. The manufacturers and clinical studies all say though that it’s meant to be taken indefinitely as obesity is a chronic condition. Only time will tell if you are one of the few who can pull off discontinuation.

Ozempic when used for weight loss is a tool designed to get you to a weight where your blood sugars and apetite are stable enough to maintain the eating habits and exercise routine you should have been working on implementing before you stop it. It's not a magic wand. If you use it incorrectly you will gain it back. I know people who've lost tonnes of weight on it and kept it off because they've done this work. It also isn't a linear process. I've just gone up to 7.5mg mounjaro and all of my hunger has come back. My prescriber has told me I need to ride this dose out and allow my body to go through the plateau so I can get to the higher doses and then it will start "working" again. When alr says ozempic stopped working, she's talking out her arse hole. You HAVE to go through that stage to get to the next stages.

What makes me uncomfortable about tommy is her intentions are not clear AND its more sneaky .... unless we dont know amber is leaning into this kink and not telling us because this girl will do anything for a partner. If she went to therapy and actually gave a eff about herself.. she wouldn't even entertain this. She would noticed her partner being like "do it" every time shes doing something self destructive. Amber wants someone to live in disorder with her and now shes gotten what she wanted. Thats scary.

I can see Amber thinking that since Tommy is more than okay with her being at her size (and will probably justify it to herself that at least she’s not as big as the ex who passed away) that she’ll stay at her size. “It’s because she loves me sooooo much!” Two years ago I started a relationship with my partner who made it clear that he likes big girls. When I said I’m working on losing weight for my health he was supportive. Cut to now I’m down nearly 100lbs from my highest weight and we’re still together. That is what love is: support for your goals and no sabotage.

@tiffanygreen71155 ай бұрын
Nah, she's gained at least 30 lbs. Amber has always lied about her weight. If she loses weight, she exaggerates the loss and makes it out to be more than what it actually is and when she gains she downplays it. When is the last time she filmed herself on the scale and not just pointed the camera up at the ceiling and had an automated voice say her weight? It's been at least a year so who knows what she actually weighs. But if you go back and you look at when she was in the 400s when she was with Crystal and with Destiny she was obviously quite a bit smaller than she is now. I don't believe a word she says. Its all lies. She is looking almost as big as she did when Beck broke up with her and she was like 600 lbs then. She's not quite there yet but she's awfully close.
@paulanadinemcmenamin77755 ай бұрын
I rarely comment (silent watcher) but Amber’s excuses here just annoyed me. She just loves to be the odd person out that things don’t work for! Ozempic doesn’t just work like magic, you still have to diet and exercise. I was overweight and I went on mounjaro and it’s changed my life. But I’ve had to put a heck of a lot of work in! 1500 cals, 3 strength work outs a week, at least 20-30 minutes of walking a day, 1-2 litres of water, 90g+ of protein (depends on your body weight) a day. It’s not an “easy” solution, it takes work. It only works as well as the effort you put in. Amber put the work in like everyone else. Your life and your health should mean something to you. They should be your priority!

She's not interested in doing what she needs to do to truly change her habits. She sets her "calorie goal" too low deliberately, so she can binge on junk food and try to make up the calories. Then she does that a couple of times and throws in the towel. If she started at 2500 calories of whole foods and went for a walk every day, and kept it consistent, she would start building healthier habits. Then start cutting back gradually by 100 calories and 5 more minutes of walking, every month. I say this as a food addict. Ironically enough, if you stop binge eating and focus on two good meals a day and drink lots of water, the desire to binge starts to abate. The point I guess I'm trying to make is that she has to change her relationship to food and how she thinks about food, and start doing things that don't revolve around food. When I'm bored and want to eat mindlessly, I grab my ukulele and start m*rdering good songs with my terrible playing. 😊
@lasskinn4745 ай бұрын
2500 might just as well be 1200 for her. it's under half of what she regularly eats. the point is that she gets her satisfaction from eating and no matter how little you mess with it there is no satisfaction from it. she would need to find a new source of satisfaction or more realistically she would have to learn to live with not being satisfaction for a long long time and that's what makes it really hard, it's still doable of course but it's miserable, which is the whole trick to it.
@selenedm9995 ай бұрын
@lasskinn474 I agree with you, and she has a lot of work to do to get to that point. Ironically enough, she has an addictive personality and losing weight can be addictive. She just isn't consistent enough to get to that point.

I work for a pharmacy benefit manager, and Mounjaro and Ozempic are approved for weight loss as well as diabetes. There is a shortage of the Mounjaro nationwide, and this causes people who actually take it for diabetes have an issue getting their medication. It's a fine line between what's fair and whats not, but overall, changing your diet and exercising is going to make the biggest change because many patients will gain the weight back after stopping the injections. It's crazy how people don't want to put in the hard work. Anything worth having is worth working hard for. Why don't people have more self control? I have been asking Amberlynn for 2 years now why she won't go inpatient for help and no answer ever when she does her Q&a's. Apparently she needs help but she doesn't want to change her life.
