my mother tounge is arabic, and i know how to read it and speak it but writting is a bit difficult, so ive grown to resent it a bit. so due to that i grew up watching shows and movies in english and barely any arabic, and alrawabi is one of the few arabic shows ive seen, so the reason m saying all of this is because this song made me cry sm while watching the show, it legit hit me so deep, and it made me realise how beautiful arabic is truly, when put in beautiful words like those, almost my whole generation ( im born in 2006) doesn't like arabic because of the way it's taught to us in school, i really hope that one day the system changes and were taught on beautiful words like those, ANYWAYS lol i ranted, have a nice day

lol i'm the complete opposite because I don't even have anything to do with the arabic language but this song, when I first heard it without even looking into the lyrics and its meaning you can feel it... I don't know how to explain myself but it's just so beautifully sad also I like this version more than it's original version by emel I can't lie. I looked up the lyrics later to see it's meaning and it most definitely is sad but besides that the beauty of the arabic language really fills me with joy. - this was my rant lmao

And yes I agree this version is so good, Farah’s actress has such a beautiful captivating voice and it shows when it’s a capella, and not everyone can pull that off. (And farah’s story adds to that mix as-well, but even without it this song stands strong)
