Eddie, Gerald and Sean Levert are my all time favorite singers. Their soulful sound always gets inside of me and I end up crying. I have been a fan of Eddie since the Ojays. He has a special place in my heart. Whenever the Ojays came to town, I would be there right down front. Then came Levert and I had some body else to love. Sean and Gerald. I knew that I would be a fan forever when I heard them sing . Reminded me of some else. When I found out Eddie was their father, I went wild. When Sean died my heart broke for the first time. I grew to love Gerald more and more. Loved it when Eddie and Gerald started singing together. But when Gerald made My Song he stole my soul. My now 14 year old said: "Grammie, why do your listen to that" meaning "Soul music." All I can say is.....you have to feel it. When I play "the music" all of my grand kids, "Feel It." Thank you for all you have done, everything you have shared with us. For all you have given. However, there will be no one like you,. Always remember, without the sound of your voice, which is amazing by the way....you could not have passed it on....Thank the Lord, it was passed. If only for a brief moment in time.
