Believe it or not, Bob James' music inspired me to study when I was in college, the long study nights when I had to prepare for final semester exams ... That was the music that accompanied me during the long nights of study, now in my 60's I still listen to it with greater admiration .. Bob James you are great !

Sorry to hear your Dad has passed. His tone on the Bob James LPs from the '70's was one of the things that inspired me to switch from guitar to bass. His playing was tasteful and exquisite yet powerful. I wish I could have thanked him in person for all of the happiness his music brought me.
