Haha I see what you mean. All the baits are recommend from real tournament results, so we didn’t want to limit how many baits get recommend. At the same time, I can see how getting 10+ baits recommended is overwhelming, even if they have all worked in past tournaments. We’ll be working on a way to narrow baits down in situations when there are a lot recommended at once. This doesn’t happen that often, though. Mainly around the spawn and post-spawn like when Matt was fishing in this video.

You know....I had the same thought as well....however....by presenting ALL of the potential options, it helped me to think outside of my tendencies and maybe even push me a bit past my comfort zone in certain fishing situations. For that alone, it was worth it for me.

On top of what has already been said, having multiple options and different presentations for different types of cover is important. The app may recommend 6 options, one being a red squarebill in the backs of creeks - but if the creek your fishing is full of that stringy snot grass back there it maybe nearly impossible to throw and that's when you'd opt for a swimjig or spinnerbait...but when you jump to another section of the lake with a hard bottom that's where you pick up that squarebill.

Great video I did try the app about a month ago I did reach out to them because the Potomac River was not on there when customer service got back to me they were very rude and non-helpful I was very disappointed but I love your videos and I hope to meet you and fish tight lines sir

Hey Mike. Sorry to hear that. We are currently working on a way to figure out recommendations for tidal fisheries like the Potomac River. Due to the complexity of the tides, we didn’t feel confident at launch recommending baits and areas without having hourly tidal changes taken into account. This is a pretty complex problem, but one we are actively working on.

The swim jig in my opinion is one of the best moving baits to throw in the spring especially when the females are up there trying to spawn. The bigger females just can't stand that swim jig. It has become a staple in my arsenal this time of the year
