This video had me in tears! I am going threw alot in my personal life! And I want to thank you for this video! I started watching your videos cause I had a loved family member die from ALS while ago, but finding you your like a beautiful angel above! Your words today put me in a better mood and I thank you! I'm sorry to see the way people are feeling the need to make posts about how you having ALS is somehow proof that God doesn't exist. Obviously you know better since God is so active in your life, so I hope you don't let those comments bother you too much. I just want to thank you for being so brave to post your life for all to see. I have a daughter with Tourettes and a son who suffers from mental illness. Christians are not immune to illness. It's genetic, it's part of our fabric and we will all go through something health related in our lifetime. Prayer is a communication with God. He is not a genie and there has never been that promise that he will heal us especially when it comes to genetics. Don't let anyone guilt you or make you feel like if you were a better Christian than this would not have happened. Continue on trusting God for his love towards you . Your testimony of courage is enough for me.. Keep on swimming.

I tend to fall into the agnostic arena. I can't quite say there isn't anything. I guess I would be a cultural Christian. I have always envied those who are secure in their faith, and it is difficult for me to move beyond "reason" to "faith." One of the things that I do believe is that the part of the second coming may be how Christ lives on in each of us in how we live our lives. You bring some interesting insights, and you are right, none of this is easy, and death is a scary thing. I really appreciate these videos and your honesty in sharing what you are feeling. I wish you peace, and keep posting to let us know how you are. Thank you for sharing this journey with us.

gud luck Laura, I think that I have als becouse i have hands and legs atrofy. my this deasis started after strabismus sugerty my one eye paralyzed i dont know why. i have horrible neck pain and my crains nerves dameges. I too have 2 daugters very difficult to find hope every day more and more difficult.

I wish I could share this with everyone. I've watched a lot of ALS videos and see a lot of hopelessness because they don't know Jesus. Please allow God to use you to share the Gospel with ALS patient's. They need to hear about the Way , to gain hope again. PLEASE! THEY NEED YOU! I know that God wants to use you in that way
