The first time this beautiful song was performed by Toon Hermans was here in my studio where he recorded this composition for the first time with me on the last album "als de liefde" that I produced. It is very special for me to accompany Lizzy Ossevoort in this song that she loves so profoundly and that she interpretates so well. The fact that Lizzy Ossevoort is born 80 years later than Toon Hermans proves that this song will survive.
