I am so glad that I found this video. Until now, whenever I would see an ice bucket challenge video, or hear about ALS, I assumed that it was "just another disease". I was never against people doing it, but I never really understood the cause enough to appreciate it. Now after watching all of your videos, I have realized just how bad and impacting ALS really is. It's so good to see this video after so much icebucket-challenge-hate (which, to a certain extent, is understandable... it's getting ridiculous at some point, people not including ALS in the caption, not mentioning it at all, besides not including information/donation links). Best wishes to you and all those afflicted with ALS. I hope that money works to find a cure for this horrible disease. To be honest Anthony, all the people dumping ice water on their heads did not motivate me to donate. In fact, it rather bothered me that people were dumping ice water on their heads in lieu of making a donation. While the ice water did help to raise awareness and probably is the only reason your video was ever made or noticed, for me, I kept thinking...why are we encouraging people to dump ice water on their heads OR donate? Shouldn't we be encouraging them to solely donate? Your video put a face on ALS an IS the reason I donated and encouraged others to do the same. Congratulations on your success toward a cure. I hope more people continue to donate to this worthy cause. Way to go Anthony! You really made a difference.
