ALSGS power feed for ZX7045 & RF45 clones - small teardown

Let's take a look what is inside Chinese ALSGS power feed . This is setup for ZX7045 mill ,clone of RF-45 and 7045 series .

A bit late I know. I just pulled my old unit apart and it’s very similar to yours except it has beveled gears made of brass where yours has straight gears made of metal. My unit is 22 years old and the large plastic gear on the bottom is still in perfect condition with no signs of wear and the brass beveled gear only shows minor wear so they’re definitely lasting ok. The LED on mine has burnt out but the main problem is the potentiometer has failed so the variable speed does not work. My new unit has a hard plastic cover that goes over the switch to keep oil ect out of the switch. Maybe you could make one. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺

Hi, thanks, useful to see the quality inside. The casings are die castings, a compound of zinc and tin, not aluminium, and exactly the rigt ht thing for the job they do. BobUK

Thanks for the video! I’m looking at buying this soon. When I do I would like to model the ‘breakable” parts in CAD, so everyone has an easy way to either CNC or 3D print replacements. Does anyone know if someone has already modeled this unit?

Będziesz całą górę skrobać ? czy chodzi o ślizgi ?

Górę, ślizgi, pryzmy. Tu już nie ma półśrodków. Geometria ustawiona więc wszelkie błędy na stole ją zepsują.
