For those who dont know, actually in the original script made by Disney, Florian would've been captured by the Queen and she would have told him all her plan, including the way to break the curse, which is the kiss (remember that scene where she in the dugeon talking to a skeleton? That should be the prince) and thats why it would make sense for him to kiss her, cause he would've know. But the prince was too hard to draw (lol) so they just skipped his scenes and put him and the beginning and the end, but didnt change the story
