alt-J - Interlude 1 + Tessellate (live at Stages Music Arts)

In the middle of a two-night run at The Anthem in Washington D.C., English experimental rockers alt-J stopped by Stages Music Arts in Maryland to record a few songs and an interview for 89.7 WTMD.
This is a stripped down version of "Interlude 1" and "Tessellate" from alt-J's 2012 breakout album, "An Awesome Wave."

Brilliant song...( Interlude 1- ripe &ruin ) I just heard it before, on another video, it gave me chills. It has this church, monk singing, eeriness yet beautiful. Really brilliant guys 👍🏻💯 both pieces are great.

oh i never heard of them... and i think it's reasonable they're not famous? your recommendation, that's just pure experimental stuff right, but also i listened other songs, better than your recommendation to me but nothing interesting, cuz other famous rock bands during that period are able to make experimental stuff enjoyable, that's genius, that's music is about, but if you're just simply experimenting, any trained musician can do that.
