Gwil got a gf, whom he was seeing a few times a year while being in Alt-J. This added to the fact that he left the band, in addition to the fact that he did not enjoy that much having to meet new people,shake hands and talk to them

Yeah he didn't like the fame and he went off to get his Masters degree. Pretty awesome that he did something like that...as much as it sucks that he's not in the band anymore :/

I heard from someone who had some vague relation to him said that he felt he was too much of a hanger on to the band and felt he'd be more use doing his own thing and getting his degree. pretty sad he left though :(
