I've been maining Kha'Zix for over 5 years, but was only able to reach Diamond 1- 50+LP. After watching the whole video, completely, while actively thinking about everything, I just now notice how I have been ignoring small things that would probably make the difference for me hitting Master or GM. I will be going back to Kha, with a newfound enthusiasm for the champion because of this video. This was so good and even entertaining to watch.

Great guide! You've inspired me to try Kha on SR! (I love the Comet ARAM W-E-R evolve Shojin/Hubris/Cleaver build) but never seriously jungled with him. That said, I was wondering if you avoid taking First Strike into AOE/unexpected damage spam champs like Taliyah, Karthus, Teemo shrooms, etc? I've had some bad experiences losing the FS procs and it's definitely a feels bad moment.

never really thought about that but you can technically avoid using first strike vs those champd yeah, it does feel really bad when you lose it because of a tiny tick of damage. i dont really think you need to worry about it too much, just be extra careful before fighting

As a master kha i almost always run hob. The reason is that khazix is really a champion to play in the jungle. His ganking isnt that strong. He does poorly when behind. So you have to play him as if 1v1 ing the enemy jungler. And hob provides the most dmg when you invade or fight 1v1.

Superb video, as usual. I have a question, I have a lot of gank problems with kha zix (I think I just don't know how to gank in general). Do you have any advice? Things not to do, things to absolutely do. To stay alive and ensure kills.

generally if the enemy sees you coming its really easy to avoid a kha'zix gank because hes not that fast and has very telegraphed abilities. So you would want to try hide as much as you can leading up to the gank. During ganks you want to walk ahead of the enemy to give yourself more space to work with. You also want to hold your leap if possible to chase down movement abilities and flashes. Ganking should mostly feel effortless and shouldn't take too much time to perform so if it feels like you need to force yourself to gank then its probably not a good one. Only go for ganks that are a 100% guarantee for a kill.

Bro as a khazix main Rengar mains are always laughing to us they claim that they oneshot us all the time and khazix players have no chance against Rengar. So what do you think about that ? Also how do you deal with otp rengars in high elo ?

If u build plated steelcaps, u win 1v1 until rengar has 2 items. Also kha better teamfighter

The goal against Rengar is to not let him auto attack you to death. Before lvl 6, you're not supposed to win a fair 1v1 as Kha', you don't have your Q Evolved to try to outdps him, nor your R to be "untargetable". Also, if you want to get him because your R is up, make sure to dodge his E, as it will reveal you during your invisibility. And maybe the most important thing : get the first hit, I feel like the one getting jumped on will lose. To 1v1 a Rengar is about evading his auto attack, remember he has healing, you have to burst him, temporize with R, re-burst him, jump out. Obviously, depending on the context, build, gold difference, map pressure, what I said can or can't be true... Maybe another bro Kha' main can correct me if i'm wrong, or add things to what I said.

the matchup is rengar favoured once he gets a kill or two. it makes the matchup easier if you build defensive items against him since he wont be able to instakill you. steelcaps, edge of night, eclipse and deaths dance all good into him

This may sound dumb but I've been having some great success with collector > ldr > ie > yun tal with HoB. Any thoughts Tinjus? Not only does it deal more damage but it also eliminates the entire isolation issue for later phases.

@@Tinjus Could you give it a try once if possible i'd really love to see you play it. The issue for me always is not being able to find isolated targets after sometime in the late game and the build eliminated that entire issue for me. Like I can do 3k damage with a single combo to a guy with 200 armor even if they are not isolated. The only thing I'm trading feels like a bit of move speed and I feel like its an ok trade. I'm pretty sure it could still transition into something else other than ie after LDR like a traditional assassin build but the %50 crit chance instead of %40 really makes a practical difference when playing especially with HoB.

Bro, could you answer what it is that is holding you back from reaching challenger? I couldn't help but notice in the intro you said you had played khazix for years, and reached challenger earlier. Is it just impossible to get challenger? Is it Khazix himself that hasn't been quite meta? What would it take for someone like you to get challenger?

i just dont play enough or am motivated enough to get it. i've thought about getting chall a lot but at the end of the day i dont see a lot of value in chasing ranks anymore, nor do i feel the need to prove to anyone or myself that i'm a good player it has been a while though, so maybe i have one more push left in me x) its definitely possible to get challenger with khazix since hes versatile and can carry hard, but you do have to play extremely well
