​​@@assmassm3276 there are lots but they dont commit to become sniper and when there are snipers they usually use charge rifle instead and if the enemies used charge rifle they usually lose given how different between sentinel and charge rifle are. So when they confront altare with his beloved sentinel they literally cant push or just commit their resources against him, given last night when altare manage to hold 2 teams and both of them have to commit to him

Iirc they based it on past ranks for a certain period, and Altare's highest rank at the time was Plat, hence the 3pt.

Selen shouldn't be a 10 point, she hasn't played seriously for a while now, so it balanced out in the end, also not to mention they would also need to play with high pings. While Altare has awesome aim, he doesn't have a lot of the APEX map and ability knowledge. I am super excited about this team though, and I hope they continue to Collab since they have such good chemistry.

@@dalgona4819 It's the highest rank they've ever achieved, even if it was under a different name, which is why it was so hard to get an exception for Selen. In Altare's case Apex just isn't his main game, but he plays other shooters like Valorant all the time. So while his game knowledge specifically for Apex is lacking compared to the other two, his fundamentals are way above what you'd expect for his rank.

Selen used to be a top player in the past and that was taken in consideration even though she said that she has long since fallen from grace resulting in her 10 point. Altare on the other is a cracked sniper, played competitive fps before, and even had offers to join pro teams for said competitive fps games such as overwatch but because he didn't rank that highly in Apex, he got a 3pt since only the apex part of his career is taken into account.

he's so amazing... i haven't seen anyone as good as sniping since Astel-senpai. it's insanely hard to snipe a moving target especially when you need to factor distance, curvature of the bullet, and where the target will exactly be in the time the bullet hits. And in practice it's even more difficult because you need insane muscle memory to move your mouse and click in time. if you want more instant serotonin like this i recommend watching that clip of Astel's shots with a kraber, where he's able to consequtively land headshots on high-speed targets while moving around himself in a 3v1

Altare almost constantly having to level up their EVOs every game is the upside to him rotating a bit later than Axel and Selen. We mostly see Axel and Selen's POV and it's always a bummer when he gets downed after a late rotation but seeing this made it totally understandable.

Unless they can get golden armor in the first drop, they'll just wasting meds for no reason. Altare's sniping's purpose was to just evolve their armor, and occasionally scare people away and grief. Even with altare always carrying 12-16 cells every game, he will always down to 2-4 by ring 4.

Man, this brings me back to when I played shooters. I always preferred fighting from long range whenever possible. The last shooter like that I played was TF2 circa mid-2010’s when I got good using the Sniper’s bow. I tended to get into mid-range positions right behind where my team-mates are fighting rather than sticking way in the back as far away as possible like Snipers tend to do.
