You were so helpful! Thank you. I would have never thought to use the die packaging. Hopefully I have kept them all.

Oh my goodness, I never even considered that people might not keep the packaging, but that's so common! Good point Gloria! Thanks so much for watching!

Love your videos, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I would like to see Camellia Japonica, Crocus, Lily, and Lotus.

You're so welcome, Dedra! Ooh, those are gorgeous sets. I don't have Japonica, but I may have to get it now. I'll put something together with Lotus after our August vacation. I do have a Crocus video which you can see here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nabXZ3aZmKmJn9U

Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I’ve really been struggling with those two middle pieces since I found it really hard to see where they were supposed to line up. I’m not too familiar with the names of the Altenew inks, can you elaborate a bit on your color for layer 5? Was that lighter than layer 4? And then darker again for layer 6?
@NotableInk5 жыл бұрын
Hi, Marianne! I’m delighted you found the video helpful! Altenew inks come in sets of four. We’ll say ink pad 1 is lightest and 4 is the darkest. For stamp 5 I liked it best when I used the second lightest color (ink pad 2) and the darkest color (ink pad 4) for stamp 6. When I used too dark of a color for stamp 5 I felt the center of the flower lost detail. I hope that helps. Happy stamping!!

Hi 👋 Please tell me what you do with stamps before use? Take off the top layer? Or wipe something? In the video I can not make out the ear.
@NotableInk5 жыл бұрын
Hello thanks for watching! I lightly rub the stamps with a white rubber eraser. It removes the slick coating and leaves it a bit cloudy so that it takes the Ink well. Nothing special about the eraser, it’s from the dollar store. I hope that helps!

@@NotableInk Thank you so much 😊 I will definitely try. And then I bought Distress ink and they fall badly.
@NotableInk5 жыл бұрын
Ирина Митрофанова Original You are so welcome! Distress inks are great for blending, but not so good for stamping. Distress Oxide stamp very well - they’re a mix of pigment and dye. The oxides blend beautifully too. There are more opaque and can be layered on top of each other, whereas regular Distress are more transparent.

@@NotableInk Unfortunately, I found out about it late (((( Now I have a whole collection of disaster ink 😁 I will now collect Distress oxide. Thank you very much for your consultation🌸🌸🌸
