What a great idea to use up my scraps of mirror and glitter card stocks - die cut the small circles out of them and use as embellishments. They really make your card. Brilliant idea.

Thank you so much! Surgery went well and I was able to discontinue all my eye drops. Unfortunately, it only gave me a year break though. I'm back on the drops again. My eyes are stable at the moment and that's good.

I'm so happy you are feeling well. My mother had laser surgery twice for her glaucoma, finally the stent helped, she is stable at 21 with the stent. Anyway, great video. You showed how large print paper can be used beautifully on cards. I always tried to avoid large prints and stick with the smaller print for the smaller "canvas". Beautiful!

I never really gave the seriousness of glaucoma a thought until a bunny of mine was diagnosed with it after having lost all of his vision in one eye and 90% of it in the other eye. I'm glad for the improvements in treatment and do hope a cure will be found soon, hoping you will be one to benefit from it. I love your cardmaking and most definitely want you to be able to continue. You're very inspiring!

So glad you are getting better. Thought I would recommend an eye mask for sleeping to you ... I have very, very dry eyes & I always sleep with a fan on (it’s the white noise thing) but it really causes my dry eyes to hurt like crazy. On Amazon, there is a brand of sleeping mask, “Alaska Bear”, that come in a lot of designs and are very comfortable at night and adjustable as well, just in case you need a sleeping mask. ♥️♥️♥️

Because I currently use 3 different medications to treat glaucoma, I now suffer from dry eyes. The medications are harsh. I’ve tried so many different things to treat dry eyes, but nothing helps. I even use medicated drops specifically for dry eyes. I’ve been using a sleep mask for about 18 months. I even have a special one that looks like black swim goggles. I still wake up with sand paper eyes since the mask always slips off while I sleep. The hope is that with the surgery, I can discontinue some or all my glaucoma drops. Then the dry eye treatments may stand a chance at working.

Your ability to lay down pieces to achieve the 1/16th boarder on the matting is amazing. And doing this without being directly over the top of the card... Do you mark off your guillotine cutter edge in some way to help you trim an edge down to 1/16th or 1/8th? My eye can spot the slightest uneven boarder. Your matting trim is spot on every time.
