Great reaction! This is widely thought to be their best song. But they really don't have any bad ones. Anything from Blackbird, Fortress or the Last Hero would be awesome. 'Words Darker than their wings' live from Royal Albert Hall is an absolute masterpiece. In fact, it would be great if you did a studio vs live version reaction to that one. Also, I love 'From Can to Can't' and had never made that connection haha.

There are soo many to chose from but another stand out song of theirs is 'Cry of Achilles'....but avoid the official video version it's too distracting, I would suggest the lyrics version. Love your reaction, funnily enough the guitar you said sounded like Tremonti was actually Myles playing. He plays the first part of the back to back solo and the ghostly sounded guitar at the end. Tremonti is amazing but Myles is an excellent guitarist in his own right so much so that Tremonti and Myles play co-Lead at lot of the time. Their styles are very different but they compliment each other beautifully.

Myles' style with guitar (solo's) is pretty obvious if you know him. Usually more big ('emotional') bends and some 'odd' note choices (coming from a jazz/fusion background) are usually his, and Tremonti is much more bluesy and shreddy. Thanks for listening to this song, that outro gets be every time as well. Although I listen to metal, this is one of the few bands in hard rock I really really like.

Such a great and epic song! Great lyrics and guitar work by both Myles and Mark! And the power vocals of Myles; damn I never tire of it! If this had come out in the 70’s 80’s or 90’s when rock music still ruled; these guys would be as famous as any of the huge bands of the era! They just came into existence a little late for that; but they are still enjoyed by a dedicated fanbase, and I feel lucky to have discovered them recently! They have so many great songs - more than just Blackbird. Melodic rock music with some bluesy and sometimes thrashy metal elements thrown in here and there. Always tastefully done. Go down the Alter Bridge rabbit hole - album by album and you will not be disappointed 💪

Alter Bridge is phenomenal! Specially their guitar work. Myles Kennedy is the jazz/blues guy and Mark Tremonti is the metal guy. Mark was voted as the guitarist of the decade too in 2019 by Guitar World magazine.

Very cool reaction! Blackbird is the best song of the last 20 years in my book. But the live version in Amsterdam is far better. Myles was sick for the Wembley show. Btw, from the Blackbird album onwards, the lyrics is all Myles, the music is written by Mark and Myles and they share the guitar solos. AB have released 6 amazing studio albums. The next one should come out this Fall. Next please react to In Loving Memory also live from Amsterdam.

There is no reaction. It's all generic basic comments. "aw man this is epic", and "aw man this sounds great" are just examples of talking for the sake of talking. Please make an effort to pause more for longer and give actual takes on stuff instead of cringe shit like " this is frickin epic dude" then blankly watching again.

Haha wow, I'm not even mad, that rebuke of my video was pretty freakin' epic dude. However, I will defend myself. Usually I hear the opposite, that I stop too much. Dude, did you watch the video, or just cherry pick the things I said in a colloquial manner of speaking? The two videos I reacted to were about 18 minutes long, and my reaction video is 28 minutes long. I guarantee you that I said substantive things outside of "wow", "dude", and "this is epic" within that time. And where was I blankly staring at the screen? I'm pretty sure I was absorbing and moving to the music the majority of this video and not as you say, blankly staring.

@@Yeedeed I must of been in a sour mood when I wrote that so my bad firstly for being so mad lol. I think it probably bugged me that you didn't delve into it much, it felt like surface level comments. It's nice as a viewer to see you stop and read lyrics, then speak about what you think they mean. Or to comment on a melody you noticed in the back of the mix, or pick up on a nice bassline or fill you noticed. It felt that you were just doing what other reaction channels do and I think it would set you apart more to explore the aspects of the song more in detail? I'm in no place to tell you what to do of course it's obviously your channel and project, especially after being so rude to you, but take this more as food for thought than anything. Have a good one man.
