the best thing in this scene was, Nuno was very humble, it was Alterbrigde show, he did not want overrun tremonti. That my friend is very special, not just shredder, but "Great Artist". I like tremonti (his sound) and creed/alterbridge songs, but we all know that Nuno could easily eat him alive. Put paul gilbert or others at the same par on that stage, then we have contest.

Agree, Mark is my absolute hero but Nuno is WAY more creative and versatile, a true master in a wide variety of styles. I like Myles' bluesy style too. I can't more than admire and appreciate the beauty in every guitarist playing style and their diversity. That been said I agree on Gilbert vs Nuno too, that would be an epic battle.

Own both a PRS SC and a N4 both are stellar guitars that represent two different approaches. If I must pick one over the other it's going to be PRS. As for who's better. Myles Kennedy is a stellar singer, guitarists, and song writer. Mark Tremonti is a Stellar singer, guitarist, and song writer, and Nuno is a stellar singer, guitarist, and song writer. Realize that this is not a competition ( it is a celebration ) and the only reason why anyone would pick one of these guys over the other is based on personal taste ( subjectivity ). If I must pick one on sheer ability then Myles Kennedy wins for his overall talent. If I must pick one guitarist on his sheer ability then Mark Tremonti is clearly the man!

Maybe a PRS sponsored thingy? I played both .. Nuno's signature axe and a few PRS models. It is rather strange. The PRSs are true beauties, but so ... inbetween. Sound and handling are somehow not my taste. Nuno's Sig is an animal of a guitar, PRS cannot give me that .... As to that "duel" .. I have seen Nuno on stage and during recoding in studio. He's clearly the better man. Better than many hyped Guitar Slingers.m2c ..

No, Nuno was there to watch the show,the guys found out and invited him to come on stage and just jam with them.There's a similar video,with Slash jamming with AB ,were he's playing Myles DGT guitar.Propably Tremonti just gave him one of his spare guitars.And about the ''inbetween'' thing:that's the point.When the PRS Custom was designed,P.Reed Smith was going for an ''Swiss-Army knife guitar'',basically a hybrid between a Strat & a Les/Paul that can be used for many genres.The Tremonti is more of a modern,more metalised Les/Paul.The N4 is a typical superstrat,for super fast playing.Different guitars for different playing styles. Oh and Nuno kicks ass, I heard they gonna release a new Extreme cd soon!
