I have never heard of Alter Bridge before. Black Bird came up when I was scrolling down looking through the music. I was totally astonished and amazed at the pure emotion that the music combined with the lyrics creates! I stayed up the rest of the night listening to all the songs they have released as a group and individually. Shared songs with everyone I know, so they to can be touched by the musical talent of these artists! Words cannot truly express how grateful I am that they have chosen to share their musical gifts with the world! Totally agree, only a few other Alter Bridge songs could possibly outrank Blackbird. It has pure music quality, lyrics, and skill (two guitar soloes!)

Ryan Daly lol. Slash? Haha. Myles can play circles around Slash all day. He was a lead guitarist for 3 bands before Ab. He's professionally trained and won a guitar competition when he was 18. Slash plays the same boring scales each time. Also, Myles was a guitar tutor himself.

actually, while Mark is a beast and did write the entirety of One Day Remains, he has talked repeatedly about how much Myles inputs. Myles has co-written almost every song since the first album. having been in a band for years, the common misconception that 1 person writes everything is very annoying. Tremonti has stated on numerous occasions that Myles is one of the best guitarists hes ever worked with. and when a man like Mark says that, its fucking special. Tremonti (the band) is written almost exclusively by Mark, hence his last name being the band name but Alter Bridge will always be a band effort.
