Hi Shannon, thanks for the video! I really wanted Pretty Grunge when it came out, but I don't use shimmers much, and there are 6 in the palette, and it costs $69! I think I'll get this one though, and I think I'll be more comfortable with the shimmers in it. Thanks for pointing out that they aren't as...shimmery. And I'm more comfortable with spending $24 as opposed to $69.

I'm honestly not a fan of Huda's eyeshadow formula. Her shadows always feel... unpolished, for the price point. And her shimmers are way too blingy. Alter Ego's formula is a good, reliable run of the mill formula that is easy to work with, especially for the price point. I actually prefer the Alter Ego version of this one.
