I really would love a series made only with efemera made out of book pages. ❤❤❤ I have initiated yesterday of making an altered book , I have pould of the pages and folded the pockets. My favorite pocket is the butterfly one , I absolutely adore it and I will make some myself. ❤❤❤

I absolutely love the butterfly page! Also, I don't trust washi tape for adhesion either, so I run it across the glue stick. It sticks really well.

I make altered books for many years now. I use thick books , so I have a good sturdy spine. Gluing the pages is not necesarry for me, because I use some mat paint or mostly paper to embellish the pages. I use the books as memorykeeping/journal/ collage/ artjournal. All in one The story of my familie is so entertaining to look this way. The T pocket you made looks great, I never saw that before , good idea!

Oh this is fun! I made a couple of altered books only, but tearing out caused other pages to tear out. 😢 one I reinforced with tape and it worked and one completely fell apart. I will fix that one with stitching. 😊

Great video, thank you for a reminder, I have had a creative blocks for a while now. This weather in Vero Beach is so hot I cannot even think straight. This is going to be just perfect for me, I am heading to the charity shop now. Also I have lots of washi tape I don't trust either, should I add a thin line of glue before I add the tape. Oh I just thought a hand made ruffle out of the pages would look cute also and some old buttons here and there, like make a fold over pocket with a button with wrapped string to close it all out of your book pages

If you are tearing pages from a book that has been glued (perfect binding), The book will eventually start losing pages. If you use a sewn book, which is better, as you tear out pages, be aware that you are also tearing out its other half.
